To enhance economic development through sustainable management of natural resources for poverty reduction by 2012
The objective of this program seeks to advocate for policies that create and sustain social economic equality, build the capacity of Coast communities to effectively and efficiently manage the locally available natural resources through creation of social enterprises, and build strong community institutions to amplify the power of the marginalized people for poverty reduction and address the critical linkages between environmental degradation, poverty, and social inequity.
Current Projects:
1. Water And Sanitation Governance In The City Of Mombasa:
The purpose of this project is create awareness among the citizens of Mombasa on the Water Reforms, strengthening citizens voice and creating partnerships with the utility and the regular to ensure citizens access water and sanitations services, compliance to the set targets and benchmarks, improving transparency and fighting corruption within the water and sanitation sector in the Coast and the entire country.
